I understood and knew that anything was possible in this crazy culture we have when, circa '83 or so, I saw Mr. T, dressed as Santa Claus, at the bleedin' White House with none other than Nancy Reagan herself perched on his knee. Really. At that instant, the epiphany hit me like a bullet that now, anything was possible. Mr. T., Santa, and the White House. It was a perfect moment. Wow, the American Dream in living colour.Last edited by olivia : 07-27-2008 at 03:45 PM. |

Yeah, who knew that every old barn contains the parts needed to build a flamethrower or rocket launcher? Well, the A Team knew! I always loved it when a plan came together (sorry Hannibal, lol)..."Huuuhn! I pity the fool!" Jackie and I saw Rocky III back when it first came out. Of course, that was Mr. T's debut as an, ahem, 'actor', portraying the fierce Clubber Lange. He was terrific in the role. Jackie still talks about how scary he was. Little did we know then that in just a few years, our house would be littered with Mr. T and A Team toys! Our son was a huge fan, and often draped all my wife's necklaces around his neck, proclaiming that he was "like Mr. T!" Thanks Mr. T! Olivia |
