Hourglass FigureThe other day I was reading the "Femulate" blog and Stana was talking about using duct tape to keep her mid-driff in check. I know duct tape is powerfully strong stuff but I have never used it as a make-shift girdle. I'm always looking for more effective ways to achieve that hourglass figure so maybe some time with a roll of duct tape is in my future.
I'm curious to know what you girls use to create your feminine silhouette and is your method effective? Currently, I combine a very firm high-waist girdle with a long line bra but I think it only reduces my waistline by a couple of inches overall. I do have two corsets but I can't wear them long enough for them to be practical. Hugs, Sally

Re: Hourglass Figure Been there and tried that using parcel tape.
It does work but in the heat of summer it gets a bit hot and itchy. Not too bad in the winter though. I generaly don't realy bother going the whole hog with getting the silhouette right. Re: Hourglass Figure I use a corset sometimes. Others I don't worry too much. There are a lot of GG's who do not have hourglass figures either.

Re: Hourglass Figure never tried duct tape for my midriff only waist cinchers!
but hen i had my last transformation and make over they used duct tape below my breasts to create cleavage and boy doe that work well   a unique appreciation and fascination of the female form and a desire to emulate it .GIF "left wink")

Re: Hourglass FigureThe duck tape thing is very tough on our (delicate) skin.
I actually tried some stretch film once but doing that alone was, well, challenging to say the least. The girdle and long line bra is the most practical. Of course if I got committed enough I'd lose a bunch of weight and that would help (A LOT) Did I mention I already have an hour glass figure! - unfortunately far to much of the sand has descended to the lower level -- I never have any trouble having curves down there-- now only if I could do something with my waist!! Re: Hourglass Figure I used to use a leather corsett. I liked it at first because of the effect (but still needed padding below), but soon comfort prevailed. So occasionally I use high top shapers and/or long line bras instead. On one shaper I added loops so I could attach it to a favorite ordinary bra with sewn on hooks to keep the edges together.

The key figure isn't the size of your waist, but the size difference (optimum 11 inches) between your waist and hips. So hip pads are an alternative, if you're that bothered.

Re: Hourglass Figure Gee,,,,,,,,Im just so glad im a woman..... with all this duct tape pading pulling in pading out make up breast forms wigs epilating, oh yes that hideing of ummm yes the external bits some where down south. i think they call them........ & no i dont play golf where ever that is. oh there was this makeup. side as well to hide yea well......... the dark shadow...... I think my hips are pretty good at 39 in's my waist is good as well 34. in's & of cause my breasts at 41 in's, & no im not doing the pull in my tummy for any one , even with a swim suit on ill look quite good . Oh yea corsett's not my thing i like breathing thank you. & of cause i like my tea time so thats now ready. ....corsetts............no room for food with that on. ...noeleena....

Re: Hourglass Figure I would try a cincher, but I still need to offset the broad shoulders, which a cincher really doesn't do. I find that some hip padding helps to do that.
